Ridge forming machines with an active mechanically-driven roller are good and economical alternative for AUR ridge forming units. Before ridge forming is successfully carried out with the use of this machine, the field must be prepared in a proper manner i.e. deep soil opening to the depth of minimum 25 cm must be preformed as well as soil must be highly disintegrated. The ridge forming machines make ridges that have very well hardened edges. Quality of soil inside the ridge depends on proper preparation of the field. MR ridge forming machines have robust, durable and compact construction that is designed for heavy-duty and efficient operation.

We offer two-row machines (MR2) that are suitable for several-hectare plantations of root vegetables as well as four-row machines (MR4) designed for farms of larger area.  The ridge forming machines made by Firma WEREMCZUK can make ridges of very good quality and are available at very moderate prices.

Final quality of ridges is highly dependant on proper preparation of soil. The soil should be deep opened and should not contain clods and contaminations from earlier cultivations.

Efficiency of the machine results from its design and materials used for its manufacture.

MR ridge forming machine is suspended on the three-point suspension system of the tractor. The working elements of the machine are the coulters that accumulate a large enough bulk of soil to form ridges and the active roller that forms and presses the ridge. The drive is transferred from the tractor by means of the jointed-telescopic shaft to the intersecting axis gear and then to the drive shaft and the roller chain that drives the ridge forming roller.

MR ridge forming machine is equipped with the following:

• active mechanically-driven ridge forming roller
• robust and durable transmission with power reserve
• ridge forming disks made of high-quality abrasion-resistant steel
• the middle ridge forming disks can be shifted
• robust coulters (with exchangeable noses) that are capable of deep soil working
• coulters suspended on yokes (the coulters can be shifted on the frame)
• coulters' wings of adjustable width
• 4 track openers – so-called claws (two claws for each wheel) in the 4-row MR4 machine
  

MR2 and MR4 ridge forming machines can be connected with ALEX-3 mechanical seeders (made by Firma WEREMCZUK) by means of a special frame. Such a solution rationalizes the sowing process and reduces the costs of cultivation of vegetables on ridges.

MR ridge forming machines fulfils all standards and requirements of the European Union with regard to machine safety. As a standard, each seeder is delivered with the instruction manual prepared in one of the following languages: Polish, English, Russian or German. Other language versions of the instruction manual are available on special request of the customer.
